Chris Nichols Vice President, Permian Basin

Chris Nichols currently serves as Vice President of the Permian Basin.

Chris has over 25 years of experience in engineering and supervisory roles for production, completion, and drilling operations. He joined Continental Resources in 2010 as a Senior Completion Engineer for the Northern Region and was promoted to Northern Region Completion Manager in 2011.

Prior to joining Continental Resources, Chris served as Area Engineering Manager for J-W Operating in Longview, TX, where he supervised operations in East Texas, North Louisiana, North Texas, and Pennsylvania. He began his career with the Dowell division of Schlumberger in Fort Smith, AR.

Chris holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University as well as a MS in energy management from Oklahoma City University.
